I am currently looking to purchase a shed and noticed a lot of companies now offering tanalised sheds that they claim last so much longer. Are they were the xtra money or is it just a gimmick ?

if done properly[pressure treated properly] it will double or triple the 5 year lifespan
i had my cladding timber pressure treated and the floor joists in my shed pictured here

I only make tanalised / pressure treated sheds

all my sheds are pressure treated the first one went up 15 years ago and still looks new
