Thanks for the quick reply. When and if I can access the cartridge how do I stop the drip? Do I adjust something or is it a case of replacing the cartridge? And if so are the universal or does the replacement depend on the tap brand?

Replacing unfortunately.
They are generally tap specific.
Screwfix/merchants do some generic ones, you may be lucky.

It won't have ceramic discs. It is a mixer cartridge.
