Hello people, me again.
This maybe really trivial for all of you Plumbey people out there.
Basically whenever I run water (Hot or Cold), I can hear a tappety Tap Tap noise coming from what can only presume is the pipes. The thing that is weird is that I would maybe expect this if it was hot water runing through cold ppipes or vice versa. It does it in Hot and cold weather if that makes any difference.
Also the noise carries on for several minutes after the water has been run...slowing down in the process!
Thank you.

this sounds like pipe movement noise during expansion and contraction.

get a plumber to check the pipes

No woodpeckers (that I am aware of) and no scale reducing wotsits either.

I think it must be contractions - expanding etc....It isn't a loud noise...more of clicking.....and it doesn't really bother me to be honest, just wondered what it could be, and if it could be something bad.

Cheers.
