My Tarmac drive is in a shocking state not sure if it's possible to repair or if I would need to be replaced.

As you can see lots of holes, cracking and moss present.

I am looking for the cheapest possible option to make it look reasonable.

Can it be repaired or is it passed beyond this point?

Or could I remove the surface and put on an alternative?

I guess "shocking" is a subjective term. I've driven on public roads in a worse state than that. If it's just the look that's bothering you, you can get stuff to spread on it that blackens it up like new.
