Tax dodgers snagged

Yes, by you, for example.

What did the Chancellor tell you ?
She told us.

Income from property now at 47%:

Income from interest on savings now 47%

Then you can choose from many 100s of sources that tell you he plans to “equalise” CGT to “pay” for an increase in the personal allowance.

So that’s those who pay the most, paying more to fund something they aren’t entitled to.

So he didn't tell you the fantasy you posted.

I'm glad I'm out of property.
I FInally got the money out of the upscale HMO I had. The council wanted it but wouldn't pay enough. They kept asking and said they would pay quickly blah blah like a crappy estate agent.
It went in the end to a tinpot property company , who wanted ever more meetings. At the first one they'd droned on with "the market tells us the value is" yada yada and how much it would cost me to keep if it was empty. Then letters saying how they wouldn't be able to pay the price we had settled on but would extend to xyz. Extend from what?! They kept thinking there was an EA involved. Nope, just a conveyancing soli who knows his nuts. All you need.
In the end I lied, - I said I had a better offer with a guaranteed forward date but they could secure it now if they deposited £X, up somewhat, or forget it.
Astonishingly, they coughed up.
TF it's over. Why do you have to lie?
Pity I can't use booze or women, I'll have to just waste it.

Gotcha! So we have a statement on it from you at long last. It’s only taken a couple of years. So, to be 100% clear on this from you, you have no problem whatsoever with those that legally avoid paying income tax when they don’t have to? Don’t see what your numerous threads in the past about ‘tax dodgers’ have been about. If they were evaders, you would be posting up links of those convicted. Perhaps you’ll give it a rest now about those that are wealthier than you paying only the tax they have to and not what you would like them to.
What a foolish comment.

It is legal for a British citizen, operating a company in Britain, selling British goods and services, in Britain, to British customers, to claim that his company is actually foreign, and avoid paying British Tax. He can also claim that the company belongs to his foreign wife, so she pays no income tax on the vast dividends (for example when BHS was systematically looted and left in penury). He might even claim that although he is a British citizen, was born and educated in Britain, and owns his London mansion and his country estate here, he is not really British, and so not subject to British income tax.

That is an example of legal tax-dodging.

If the law was changed to prevent it, it would become illegal tax evasion, and no doubt you would agree that taxing it was right. Even though none of the facts had changed.

You could pay your tax bill now. (y)
Too right. £6 a day it was costing. That's 3 days' food!

I even paid extra, so that the delay in transit doesn't mean I get interest on the interest on the interest....

How is that legal? Sect 14 of the Corporation Tax act 2009 says a co incorporated in the UK is UK resident.
Giving false info to HMRC is a crime.

Does one use some sort of international tax structure?
Asking for a friend:whistle:
