Hi,

My tecnik dishwasher is tripping the rcd after 10-15 run. There is no cold cycle to test if heating element is the culprit.

Is it worth even calling the electrician or better off replacing it directly? I am reluctant to pay £50-60 and eventually paying 250 to replace it.

Thanks
Neeraj

It is likely to be the heating element, but would need testing out to confirm, if cost of fault diagnosis, then part cost and the cost to replace it, is an issue. For me buying new at £250, is a logical step.

doesn't it have a rinse and hold cycle (motor but no heat)?

Nope. Probably a bit old model. Two 55° and one 65° cycle.

How much does heating element cost? Wondering what is the total cost of replacing that.
