Telecom Veritas R8 question

I have a Telecom Veritas R8 fitted and i was wondering if its possible to add a module so it can acccess my broadband to call me if it goes off.

I have the Advent Controls Alpha (bought on ebay): it works very well and it is almost plug & play on my Veritas R8... you just need a bit of gsm signal to get calls/sms on an event.

I believe you can get units that will email you based on a bell trigger just like the speech dialler dials a number and plays a message.
