From memory, the standard says up to 3 x 2.5mm² or up to 2 x 4mm².

If 3 are to be connected at a socket outlet, how many brands other than MK accept 3 x 4mm² conductors?

Even their plateswitches are rated for 2x4mm²

The cheap ****e ones my employer buys to fit to equipment certainly do not.
Took me ages planning how to connect up multiple sockets while bonding all the metalwork in an appliance yesterday as I had to fit several earth wires to various points.
