What do the following terms mean:

MCCB

RCCB

I tried an acronym finder (although these aren't acronyms, merely abbreviations) and came up with the most likely being:

Moulded Case Circuit Breaker

Residual Current Circuit Breaker/ Reverse Current Circuit Breaker/ Remote Control Circuit Breaker.

Perhaps with more context it would be easier to figure out?
 
thanks very much adam you have answered my question. I presume a moulded case circuit breaker is similar to an mcb. perhaps fwl or br will know thanks again, declan
 
mccbs are simlar to mcbs but are physically much larger have a higher breaking capacity and come in higher current ratings (though there is some overlap in ratings)

mcb boards seem to go up to 200A per phase incomeing and 63A per phase on any one outgoing cuircuit
