Test equipment advise

I had a play with one and didn't like it. It has a real budget feel to it after using Megger 1552's.

I like megger stuff too!!
40 watt spark said he has seen a megger 1552 for less than £300 here, worth asking him where from?
The cheapest I have seen them is around £560 inc VAT.

I understand megger/fluke etc are the more prefered equipment for the pro's however this seemed reasonable priced but also small enough to carry about and looks simple to use and appears to carry out all tests to 17th standard and as i reckon mainly be used at my and families homes for training purposes thought it may be a good starting option.....

oops, see edit ^^
It doesn't come with a calibration certificate though, which is another £35

Sometimes it's worth paying a little extra in the first place for quality.
I can assure you if you used both side by side you would opt for the more expensive Megger.
