Hi, just a few questions about testing, first i'd like to ask how do you work out how many points are served in say a lighting circuit,? is it the switch and all the lights or just lights, have searched my college files and cant find reference anywhere.

Also, on a certificate what do they mean by MAXIMUM DEMAND and how do i go about calculating or assessing this??

How do you find the fuse rating or setting of a main switch or do all main switches not have this setting???

For the pfc do i just do If = Uo / Zs or shall i just use the 16kA???

I think that is all at present guys but if you could help any i would be grateful, im sure ill have many more questions...

I assume your referring to the test forms for inspect and test. Just count all current using points so just roses but if you have wall lights they all count. The purpose of the question is to work out the total load.

Add up all the circuits take account of diversity, check OSG page 85

Main switches are usually marked with current rating.

Measure it with your meter or calculate as you have said above, 16KA is the breaking capacity.
