i have installed 3 new TSSOs into one of my bedrooms. There used to be 1 TSSO on the ring and 1 SSSO on a radial from it. I have removed the SSSO and added the 3 new TSSO onto the existing ring.

The question i have is about testing. I have purchased a 13A test socket, but should i also be testing the continuity of the circuit and should i test the earth fault loop impedance?

Any information will be appreciated, especially about the equipment i need.

Many thanks

Testing required for additions/extensions to an existing circuit.
Continuity of Phase, Neutral and CPC conductors of ring circuit.
Insulation resistance between all conductors.
Polarity of connections.
Earth loop impedance.
RCD trip time if RCD protected.

If I've missed anything BAS will supply.
