Texecom alarm problems

Hi I have just installed a new texecom alarm but when I turn it on it double bleeps 18 times, this alarm came with no installation instructions, I had to download them and the instructions I got have this alarm labeled but the wiring diagrams look nothing like this, I have taken all the zones out including the bell box and put the necessary link cables in so it's only the keypad transmit and receive connection in and it still bleeps 18 times
I have checked the keypads designation and it's designation is 1 and it's the only key pad, what am I missing

Was the panel lid on ?

No but I was pressing the tamper switch

You can't see it very well here but key pads light up but no tamper indicators

Not sure if I'm just being daft because it's now saying unset, I had put my code in several times and pressed reset and nothing happens but this time it has ?

Is there power to the control panel ? Is it a new battery ?

I would agree with the above, sounds like a power issue.

Some of those stripped alarm cables look dangerously close to the mains terminal block. Please be careful!
