Hi. I had a Texecom Premier Elite 64 W alarm system installed a few years ago. It has a external Odyssey 3W sounder however when the external siren goes off I don't hear anything inside the house. Should the alarm panel be sounding as well or do I need to add an internal sounder as well such as the Texecom Elite 5CI-W internal sounder.

Thanks in advance.

It should sound from keypad and internal speaker ( if fitted ) it could be blown …..or someone has disabled some of the speaker settings ….

Did the speaker test and it did sound however the volume is quite low dont think that will be heard all over tbe house. Increased speaker volume from 4 to 8 but didn't make any difference. What are my options now? Add a hardwired sound bomb or wireless internal sounder?

Fit louder 16 ohm speaker or a pyronix twin alert ….speaker and sounder in one unit ?

Did you check from customer mode or engineer mode ? As you can define what the speaker will output in ….eg entry exit / alarm volumes
