texecom impaq glass break

I am fitting a texecom impaq glass break sensor to my scantronic 9800 the room that I am fitting it in has 50s metal single glazed windows and internal double glazing so would the detector be best on the ceiling of the room or the space between the window and the double glazing stuff on the inside

I believe they are only designed to fit on the wall or ceiling not between two type glass windows, best to ask the manufacturer.
