Texecom LCDLP RKP brightness and keytones

Hi,
Is there a way to turn down the brightness on one of these keypads? We have one in our bedroom for setting, panic, seeing reason for night time alerts etc but its very bright. I have found some references to an elite RKP on how to do it, but doesnt seem to work.

Also I have played with the RKP volume in wintex but that doesnt seem to do much ( I am guessing just on siren sounds) On same basis as being in bedroom I would like to make the sounds when pressing buttons much quieter.

This can be changed on the keypad i find the easiest way is press yes and menu together then yes.

It should say back light normal adjust it to diwn to 0 and youll see nothing until activated.

Press yes then you move on to backlight active dont change this one, you will eventually get to keypress sounds and you can have none and various other options.

press yes to go through options when done press menu.
