I’m planning to upgrade my Texecom Veritas R8 system to a Texecom Premier Elite 64W, retaining the existing Texecom bellbox.
Obviously the bellbox will be staying in situ, with just the control panel/keypads being changed for the new one. My concern is whether the bellbox will go off during this swap over.
I’ve read up about hold-off mode but I will be disconnecting all cables from the old panel including battery / mains power and the tamper connections for the bellbox. Will the hold off mode still work if all of these wires are disconnected, or will I need to do something else to avoid the siren going off whilst completing the work?
Thanks in advance
