Hello

I'm currently embarking on the task of upgrading my premier elite 24 from v2.01 to 6.02 so that i can install a smartcom. However, this is the first time i've ever worked
with alarm systems so am understandably nervous.

I've watched the following video which seems to describe the process. I'd like to sanity check my steps before i proceed.
- Have tested the bell hold off and confirmed it works.
- Removed battery in preparation for the required power down
- I've connected wintex and done the "Receive panel programming data" step.
- Created a backup of account data which has created a .cif .tdf and .thf
- Ill update the panel to p24_V6_02_00_LS1_BL_V0_1.mot

Is there anything im missing? Is there any likelihood that the settings will not upload once the upgrade has been completed?

Thanks for any help.

Not as far as i'm aware but there's what I believe to be a risco wireless receiver next to the panel. Doesn't have any lights flashing though.

I've attached some pictures.

The Nova 4 is a wireless interface but doesn't look like it is in use.

Take a back up and save it.
update the profile from version 2 to version 6 and save.
default the panel
flash the panel
default the panel
upload the profile.

connect smart com
open texecom cloud account
set things up
