Hi Guys

I was in my upstairs bedroom arming the system the other night and I accidentally did a full arm instead of a partial. You can imagine the results.

Is there there a way of disabling a full arm on that upstairs keypad?

Thanks

Roger

If you have access to the Engineer menu then you could enable "quick arm" in "Keypad Setup" (Make sure you know the address of the upstairs keypad first) Then you just need to press the "Part" button on the keypad to arm the night setting. This removes the need to enter a code & pressing yes/part.

that wouldn't stop you from full arming the system by mistake ie pressing area button instead of part?

Might make it easier not to make the mistake.

certainly that may be easier than say using areas and local arming or area arm Suits to set up.

Hence the suggestion of Quick arm. If its easier to set it reduces the chance of making a mistake.

wholly agree probably best option.

although auto part arm would make the system part arm, if the e/e door isn't opened and the system initiated full set.

again its about keeping things simple though?
