Hi, I've recently self installed a Premier Elite 64-W and I can't seem to quite setup the entry/exit routes how I want them.

I have a PIR in the hallway, a contact sensor on the front door (also in the hallway) and finally the keypad is also in the hallway.

I'd like to cover 3 possible scenarios:
- Arm and exit via the front door (can the front door be open and/or shut sometimes?)
Entry would then be via the front door and into the hall to disarm.

- Arm and exit through the hall and up the stairs on a night.
Entry would then be into the hall on a morning to disarm.

- Arm and exit through the hall and up the stairs on a night.
BUT someone may then enter via the front door (with a key of course) and disarm in the hall.

I've currently got both the PIR and contact sensor set to entry/exit, and if I exit via the door is seems to arm correctly. But if I exit through the hall and up the stairs it doesn't seem to arm.

Ideally I'd like to just use full set for all instances and not use part set, is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

you probably have arming via final exit ….should be timed …hall should be guard access ( this becomes a part entry exit when you part set it ) if you set the guard attribute to on …your entry exit door becomes guard in part set …

Ah okay thanks, I'll try timed exit!

So if I change it to timed exit, then set hall to guard access, then do a full arm, what happens if I come down the stairs into the hall? Will that trigger entry or trigger alarm?

If you full set it … it will activate the alarm
If you part set it ….it will start your entry timer
