Hi

The plastic flap broke on our ageing LCDP keypad, I have bought a nice new LCDLP to replace it.

The current keypad has a door contact connected to one of the keypad zones, then the cable to the panel - Am I correct in thinking that as long as I connect these like for like I should be OK?

Do I need to power the system down before I swap them over? If so, what's the best way to do this without setting the alarm off? If activating the alarm is unavoidable, can I disable the external siren (I'd like to do it on an evening when the kids are in bed)

Thanks in advance

Red to match keypad address with the keypad address of old unit.

wire it the same.

always a good idea to have no power to keypad whilst wiring things Up as you don’t want to short the pcb
