Chaps,

Just installing the above alarm. Few questions, appreciate some input:

1. External Siren is wireless and takes 8 AA batteries. Old siren was wired. Can I take the 12v feed for the siren off the panel and wire up to external siren so I can “fit and forget”.

2. I am programming the alarm via the panel. Any benefit from using wintex? Is it just easier/clearer to programme.

3. Purchased texecom WiFi connection for app use. Planning to self monitor as I have remote viewable cctv. If I have a power cut, best way for secondary alerts from alarm? Is it easier to just buy a ups for the WiFi router.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

As already have the siren, can I just hook up a 12v feed off the panel to the battery terminals? The router is 12v.
