Texecom Veritas R8 alarm panel beeping randomly - no warning lights

Hello,

Looking for some help please!

We have a Texecom Veritas R8 alarm system. We recently changed the battery in the main alarm box located in our loft, after suffering the annoying battery low intermittent beeping from the alarm control panel for months, which solved this issue. We've not had any warning/flashing lights for weeks, until today when the alarm control panel has started randomly beeping - no pattern at all to it. The green unset light is solid, and no other lights are on (zones or tamper), when it beeps or when it's not beeping. Tried setting and unsetting, doing a walk test, turning chime off, nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

Does your user code work ?
Or has to gone back to factory default 4321 ?
When entering user code unset light should flash if code correct.

Thanks for replying. It had reset to 4321 but I’ve changed to our usual code successfully.
