Hi chaps,

Having some issues learning a wireless keypad to my system. Already have a wires keypad installed so have the DIP switch set to address 2. When learning, I’m met with ‘No Ricochet Network Found’

Help!
TIA

What version of the wireless expander do you have? the early ones were not compatible with a wireless keypad, the expander needs to be at least V3.1.

Firmware version 4.00

That's the panel firmware version, not the wireless expander firmware version. When did you buy the wireless expander, new ones since mid 2017 should have the correct firmware.

Is there a version sticker on the wireless receiver in the panel? It may need a new panel to support the keypad because the wireless software is not upgradeable.

Have you watched the Texecom YouTube video on how to install a elite wireless keypad.

Wireless firmware 3.0.6. That’s a shame then. Guess that’s why?

Yes, that wireless firmware won't support a wireless keypad. You either need a new panel or you could flash upgrade the 48w to a 64w and then buy a new 8XP-W expander and put it at address 5 then learn the keypad onto the 8XP-W. You would need to buy the Flasher board to upgrade the panel from a 48w to a 64w.
