textured vinyl white paper and painting over it.

Thanks for previous help,great advice.
now i have papered a room with textured vinyl white paper from wickes,all is up fine.
i would like to paint it or some of it,there is not any painting advice on the instruction leaflet,so can i paint it.

If this is a paintable vinyl? you can just apply your emulsion.

does not say paintable but also does not say non paintable.
i will give it a try on a test area,next question is a roller or a brush the best way to paint this textured paper.

Sorry to have been a little vague with my first reply, some of these types of wallpapers are embossed and often dont take to kindly to the application without prep of an emulsion paint. Yet in all honesty I dont think in this case you will encounter any problems, use a brush to cut in and a medium pile roller.
