Personally, I think he's a complete t055er who can no longer make money as a solo artist and has joined up with the rest to keep himself in wonga.
TT did very very well on their own without him and managed to pull off some incredible (family-friendly) shows without having to shout, swear or act obscenely.

Why are take that considered family friendly? In pop terms they're old codgers now, kids want to go and see Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus, not some droning twerps old enough to be their dads.
