Greenland and the Faroes (which are autonomous countries in the kingdom of Denmark) are outside the EU. Denmark, however is a member of the EU.

If we apply this model to ourselves, Scotland and NI (who voted overwhelmingly to remain) could remain members of the EU, while England and Wales could be outside the EU. This would solve the border issue and give E&W their Brexit.

The ones I saw when pedalling around Denmark for a week,,were,generally,blond blue eyed,slim.

I thought it was well known that "Scandinavians" were generally fair. The further north you go, the less sun you get, the less sun you get the less vitamin D, Melanin which makes your skin darker and protects you from the sun also blocks vitamin D absorption.

ergo. More sun = darker skin, less sun = fairer skin.
