Have you seen Jaffa Cakes lately? They have shrunk drastically. I'd not bought any for a long time until today...had a shock at how small they are. They must be less than two-thirds of the size they were last time I saw one. The whole Jaffa Cake is now about the size that the smashing orangey bit in the middle used to be.

Genuine Jaffas too, not supermarket copies.

We all know why companies are having to make such cutbacks.

Someone's taking the biscuit, but in all seriousness I imagine this is a wind up thread. A kind of you cant even start an innocent thread without it being taken over and subject to hidden meanings.

A bit like what is the difference between a ship and a boat.
If they shrink anymore will they be classified as a biscuit and not a cake.
I need an answer.

The answer is that they will still be cakes. It has nothing to do with size.

Get your ruler out, see if they've shrunk further from the 5cm they'd shrunk to in 2023.

I find the cheapo own-brand or no-brand ones just as good though. But they're all fresh air, I'd eat a whole pack in about a minute.
