Once it's fitted it's nice and solid.
My feedback is about the cosmetic of it.
5mm gap between doors is not nice.
I know that nobody pays attention to these things, but I do.

Things like this are not quite right.

With that angle a gap might be forgiven, but on a 2 door larder the manufacturer should've paid more attention to details

Sorry this is going to be a minor hijack.
I'm doing a kitchen/utility room replacement in the near future and have been pricing up with DIY Kitchens.
I've only got 1 Angle which is a 90 degree inset, but am looking at tower units for Oven/Microwave, Fridge Freezer and Broom Cupboard.
I'm also looking at the Quartz worksurfaces.

Would you recommend?
Is the support and quality good? Did you source your worksurfaces from them as well, and have they been templated well?

I didn't get work surfaces with them but did get the tall units.

I think overall they are good but the emphasis is on you to create the design.

I think the way I've done mine is thst certain units don't quite work as well together as I would have liked. But there is no come back as they lay the responsibility on you as the designer.

We used DIY-Kitchens last year for our utility room. As Bod says, you do the design work yourself, but we're very pleased with the outcome, and will do the main kitchen with them this year. We had quartz (Silestone) surfaces through them. They subcontract these to https://naturalstonesurfaces.co.uk/ who did the templating and fitting. The whole process was clear, easy and effective. The templating was done well, and the installation was quick, efficient and (to my eye) very high quality finish.

It's happening still and hopefully getting close to the Finnish.

Curtain Rail is up for Mrs Bod to make the curtains.

I was going to do that Johnny, My soldering is very good just like a fine silver ring. But Mrs Bod is making the curtains with fabric she bought in France. Pictures of exotic Birds and Now she has found Bird ends. Ill see what it looks like then I will do what I think is best.

I'm not keen but I'll give it a try

Let's see the end results, it might work out perfectly.
I like mixing different woods when building furniture and frames, so you could end up with the same interesting finish.

How was the ultrotherm through the winter? Big improvement?

I honestly can't say. Still needed the heating on hopefully now we have triple glazing in the kitchen I will notice a real difference.

My kitchen is still not finished. Had a few problems.

This one being that the kitchen fella didn't leave enough room for the Dishwasher. It's a mm or 2 out. However it's coursed pain.

It catches the units left & right as it hinges open

After lots of adjustment my conclusion was to have plastic perspex made to fit the door exactly. Now there is no over hang and it opens perfect.

I'm now waiting for a glass panel cut to size that will stick to the perspex, that will match my other appliances.

99% finished.
Various things have held me up but nearly there. It's not perfect nut it's my first kitchen I've designed and managed myself.

A few regrets but nothing major.
