This is true; immigrants do get council houses. The only untruth you could point out is the word "all" if you were being pedantic.

I live on a council estate and have seen it. They are housed permanently and temporarily. Singles, couples, families with no English speakers and nobody working; therefore the housing is free.

And considering we have homeless people amongst our own population, these immigrants are being given preference over them.

This isn't the same as saying "as a whole, contribute more in work and taxes than native-born brits", because as a whole, there are more native tax payers regardless of skill level than there are migrant tax payers.

As you say, the more migrant workers we have, the better our public services can be, due to their positive contribution.

Eventually you run out of high earning migrants or exceed demand; eventually you will be back to square one. Opening the doors because on average a small percentage of the population averages an extra £2500 a year isn't sustainable and regardless of who's in government, hospitals and schools won't spring up over night because of it.

Average is an important term as that average could be made up of the contribution from one high earning individual. That doesn't mean there are potentially 100 fewer migrant workers earning minimum wage while still using public services the same as a native would.

That's true. If we choose to elect a government that doesn't like public services, it won't provide them. Who do you think is to blame for our inadequate public services?

Obviously the honest migrant workers who staff our hospitals and pay their taxes are not to blame for this. And by making them unwelcome and reducing their numbers, we make our problem worse.
