Going well so far, is it?

Norton bit off more than they could chew unfortunately, building their own frames / tanks / engines etc.

They were a LOT of money to buy new and they couldn't fulfill orders on time.

It's a real shame but not Brexit related..

crying shame tbh , Nortons have been going since 1800 and some thing

I own a Norton 1971 commando

some one will buy up the name imho ?

Blimey Norton .

The manx nortons stapel of british road racing in the 50's *& 60's

Norton Dominater , The world famous Featherbed frames

JPS sponsored rotary Nortons that dominated domestic super bike racing , ridden by the likes of Trevor Nation , Steve Spray , Ron Haslam

John player sponsored commandos ridden by Peter williams, Phil Read and John "mooneyes" Cooper

:(:(

Tend to agree with Keith, sounds like there was a lot of borrowing and sales need to be good to service that debt, might be a bit of mis-management.

there domi racer type bike and the new commando were works of art tbh (bloody expensive though)

There Isle of man racer was tbh a rebadged Arillia not really a Norton imo

afaik they recently brought out some exotic track bike , some sort of tie up with Aston Martin ? over a 100,000 grand or there abouts ??

Well I must confess the opinions are mutual .......I have him on ignore I have no desire or interest to read his posts ........hopefully he has me on ignore but I suspect not.

He once trawled years of my posts to try and prove a point, he thinks that highly of me he cannot accept I could forget something! !

If he starts a gasbanni fan club can you let me know !

thats weird, the UK is still in the single market, still in the customs union, still in complete regulatory alignment.

I read a lot about Brexit, but missed those claims. Care to share what you read? Everything that was declared project fear was talking about the medium -long term problem of Brexit, not an instant crisis.
