the pilot light is on
the fan is making it's usual noise
but no heating coming from the boiler

As far as I can figure out the pressure valve is too high, it's stuck on three and a half, when it was at 1 the boiler worked fine but since it's gone higher it just won't heat up and now the house is freezing

how can I get the heater to work again, any help much apprecitated

I would say that flame recitifcation is at fault, to be honest I dont see many suaniers so am speaking out of school a wee bit

you have not had any electrical work carried out recently have you?

if not maybe the printed circuit board, but I am only guessing get someone in

I am somewhat concerned that your PRV didnt operate at 3 bar.

Its a while since I have played with one. The last one I fitted was 14 years ago so they are well out of date and generally expensive for parts.

You need someone in to at least check the top suspects: - APS, fan and PCB. Pray that its something easy such as a dry joint on the pcb that can be fixed with a blob of solder. If you have to start buying parts for it then you could soon end up throwing good money after bad.
