Thanks for all info, here is how our lockout was fixed.
Boiler Thermecon 80/95.
Burner Ecoflam Minor 1.1.
Oil pump Danfoss BFP11 R3.
Symptoms: starts ok, runs for about 8 mins then a slight click is heard, roaring flame stops, motor still running, tries to restart, then locks out.
Diagnosis, short on oil. Cleaned all filters including one in back of oil pump, (4 allen bolts), pump needs removing ( three allen bolts to be retracted then slides out) to work on it. Unplug and remove solenoid (one allen bolt in a circular brass cover). replace. Be careful to line up pump with plastic coupling. Recommended not to split actual pump (3 allen bolts under filter) to avoid breaking seal, no gaskets just two machined surfaces. Not many normal plumbers merchants keep solenoid in stock but on line ok if you can wait!!
