Thermolite vs concrete block?

Hello

I am currently converting my garage and replacing the garage door with a window and a the door. I have finish the foundation.

I called up merchants to make an order for blocks and bricks etc…. He asked me which block, thermo lite or concrete block?

I am not sure.

I am going to insulate the wall internally. The wall is literally just a 1 metre high with a width of 1.44m. The wall be rendered

Which is the best or which would suite my construction?

And the lighter 3.5N ones not the very heavy dense 7N. Deffo don’t get thermalite

If it's still the same design as before (and your waterproofing issues are being dealt with separately) you should consider the heavier 7N blocks to add stability to your door/window arrangement.
