Having an issue in the mornings with myson MEP2C thermostat.
Have it set on programme to turn on the central heating in the mornings. Heating turns on fine, but the relay inside the unit clicking on / off repeatedly. Can be constantly every second or over 10 seconds apart. Which turns the heating off for a split second and back on.
The issue only happens in the morning, works absolutely fine in the evening on programme/auto with no clicking. The hot water is always on so don’t believe the boiler is too cold in the mornings
Have tried:
*Resetting thermostat
*Taking off wall from power, and restarting it
*Swapping channels so the morning slot is on channel 2.
* changing time on the controller
Any solutions ? Or just order new thermostat
