Hi, I normally turn my heating on by turning the thermostat until it clicks once.

But now when I turn it, it clicks multiple times. Turning the boiler on or off each click.

I've created a YouTube playlist to demonstrate both examples...

I assume I need a new thermostat but wanted to check before looking for quotes. Can anyone help me fix this.

Thanks.

Yeah, sounds like a relay if anything, best off with a new one. You could get like for like (although heard recently Drayton mechanical thermostats aren’t that good) or you could opt for a Honeywell/other mechanical thermostat, or a battery operated type, plenty of options available.

That's the point! :)
It has got a relay, which means it isn't a mechanical stat...

If you did feel like taking it apart, you may be able to get some contact cleaner into the potentiometer.
But really, as above; probably new stat time.

Could also be the circuitry ie power supply that iso goosed so every time the relay operates, the power supply goes down, relay drops out, power supply recovers and cycles starts again.
