I have a Baxi Combi 80e and normally have the heating set on a timer to come on in the evening and then go off again around 7am, however I have noticed that it will kick in on the evening and then will switch of (presumably to control the temperature) and then will not come back on again even though the house becomes cold. It only comes back on if the thermostat is clicked back on manually.

Am I doing something wrong or could this be a problem with the thermostat?

Thanks

Graham

More likely the PCB. Might be worth getting some one in to look at it as there isnt much in way of testing i can tell you.

Except maybe try the timer in constant, does the same problem exist?

Thanks for the reply. I have already tried it on constant but the same thing happens, it will cut out after so long and then stay off until clicked back on.

Thanks

Namsag, I to thought of a room stat problem but op does not make it clear if he means a room thermostat or boiler thermostat

My mistake probably does mean R/S. Only assumed boiler stat as ive had this problem couple of times on this particular boiler.

You cannot make a mistake unless we know what op means

Using my enhanced mind reading powers i am assuming he means roomstat as he doesn`t mention boiler control.
