I'm going to be building a cupboard in the corner of the bathroom by building a stud wall, which will be tiled on the outside (i.e. room side).
Plan of the sort of construction I'm considering:
So my main question is what should I assume will be the thickness of the tiling layer? (Assuming typical 200 x 300mm wall tiles).
Unless the tiler wants it there before he grouts I wouldn't fit the architrave until the tiles are in place, so I don't need to be mm accurate, but I'd like an idea.
Also - secondary question - are all "Aquapanel" type boards created equal? It's not a large area, so I don't have to watch the pennies on the cost of it.
