Hi all,

I've fitted my new kitchen and I need a slimmer radiator than what was in place before to not constrict the drawers.

Does anyone know of a make of radiator <70mm, preferably <65mm to give some clearance (distances must be front of rad to wall) which comes in c. 500mmx700mm and which ain't silly designer expensive?

Cheers

Ok, thanks for the reply and that does seem like a good suggestion!

Have you had any experience of doing this before, my only concern is that the connectors will be right up against the wall or in the wall - but worse comes to worse can chip away at the wall to make space for them.

As far as I can make out I have two other main options which would be single convectors:

Myson HE rad - says its 75mm off the wall so would need to recess the brackets 10mm.

Quinn Barlo roundtop - one webpage I have says 69mm - 88mm and another says 73.5mm to 83.5mm (might be a newer model). Is the range as the brackets can be mounted two ways? Does anyone know that if in the lower config is there much space between the fins and the wall to recess as if not then these would require a bit less of recessing that the Myson ones.

Vogel and Noot Vienna Line K1SPG.

70.5mm from wall to front edge.

Or put in a Kickspace heater under the plinth (www.smiths-env.com)
