Went to one of theose NIC seminars tonight & the example they gave for not having sockets on an RCD, was in say an IT room or a Lab where it would be used by 'skilled person' or an 'instructed person' & it would be unlikely that sockets would be used for equipment outside & unlikely that people would be drilling the wall putting up shelves but they would still have to be labelled.
