Thoughts on this roof?

Whats your thoughts on this roof, other than the shocking repointing?

The left side. these are 4 block maisionettes around 65 years old. Are tiles showing signs of breaking down?

Council will be surveying to see if a new roof needed. Any tell tale signs?

No signs of shaling or displaced tiles. It's in quite good nick.

The staining is bird droppings from roosting on the chimney. Not an issue

If this is a council property, I'd insist that the bloke who did the chimney pointing is not allowed back for any further roof work.
