Hi All,

I am moving into a house soon which has an oil-fired combi boiler.

1. Is there a HIVE product which will work with this to control the heating?
2. If so, is this a DIY job or do I need an OFTEC engineer to install it to replace the existing thermostat?
3. If I need one, can anyone recommend a suitable engineer in the Bakewell area?

TIA

Chris

A Hive is a fancy overpriced on/off switch. It will control pretty much any boiler, just as any other on/off thermostat will.
It's not difficult and in some cases it's a direct replacement for the existing thermostat. Like most things there are ways to get it wrong.
OFTEC is unrelated.

Hive single channel or dual channel in some oil Combi boiler cases (not sure which ones). No need for oftec.
