Hi Experts,
I am a newbie and trying to resolve a problem which I have post Hive installation. Requesting some help on the installation.
I had Danfoss TP5000 thermostats and decided to replace it with Hive. I have two zones so two Danfoss thermostats (Ground Floor - controls heating of the whole house and Upstairs Bedroom - controls heating of master bedroom).
British Gas Engineer has set up the Hive multizone (two Hive thermostats) and all are hard-wired. There is no separate Hive receiver is required as Hive tech team says that all the new Hive thermostats come with the receiver in-built.
I have combi boiler only heating can be controlled. The hot water is on-demand.
Problem: Upstairs thermostat does not fire up the boiler. Only downstairs thermostat fires up the boiler.
I checked the Danfoss Actuator (bedroom one) and it's closing and opening the valve as expected.
Upstairs Bedroom Hive. This one is not firing up the boiler but opening & closing the heating valve.
Ground Floor Hive. This one is firing up the boiler but opening & closing the heating valve. Working perfectly fine.
Danfoss Actuators Wirings.
If I interchange the Black Wires with each other then bedroom Hive thermostat is able to fire up the boiler but ground floor Hive thermostat is not able to fire up the boiler.
Combi Boiler
Danfoss TP500 Thermostat which has been replaced by Hive.
Thanks,
Suvendu

- Do I need to change any wirings? Is yes then what and where do I need to change?
- What is the Black, Brown, and Grey color wire means?
- Why the Grey wire is not connected to Hive Thermostat?
