Can anyone advise please?

I am having a loft conversion done officially, and I have 2 properties to my left one front, one back. the rear property only shares about 6 foot of party wall, and we do not need to cut into it, or effect it. it is all going on between us and the front house. do I need party wall agreement with the rear house as Im not touching the party wall?

the dotted yellow line in the image is the party wall in question.

If you are not touching the party wall you do not need to apply the Act.

just to confirm, it's not classed as one long party wall with responsibility to both neighbours along the whole length then? It's only party to them from the point they are at party with the front house?
