thumbprint door lock

Hi We have uPVC doors at front and back door.

For increased security and to prevent loosing keys (for kids etc) we would like to get thumbprint door locks.

Has anyone got any experience of fitting these locks?

are they easy or possibler to fit to a multilock uPVC door?
Could this be a DIY job or need to get a locksmith to do.

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated

no point.. easy to defeat.. just watch mythbusters..
they had a top of the line fingerprint lock and defeated it with a photocopy of a print lifted off a drinking glass.. all they had to do was lick it for conductivity and it worked a treat..
