Hi,
My previous builder decided not to remove 15 year old skirting board and tile the floor up to it.
What would be the best solution here to replace the skirting or at least tidy the job up somehow?
I guess i could remove the grout, replace the skirting then regrout?
Thanks

Do you mean take the grout out, remove the skirting board, replace and use the beading to cover the previous grout?

No, I mean just stick a bit of quadrant bead over the join.

That’s exactly what plastic_peanut is suggesting, except they need to remove the old skirting, which is held in place by the grout, before covering any join!

I’m confused; the only thing plastic_peanut said was “pictures would be useful”.

Ooops, got the quotes wrong on the phone, very sorry! I was referring to goatz' post!
