Hello - If I'm getting a tiler in to do my kitchen floor, will it be normal to ask him to unplumb my washing machine, get my fridge freezer and tumble dryer into another room etc? I can't do this myself but don't know if its cheeky to expect them to help?

you could ask him prior to giving him the job, just ask he would move them for you.
Normally when pricing a job i ask the customer if they are getting things moved or if they would like me to move them.
but its nice to ask, chances are he will oblige
