At the moment my porch has ugly concrete paving slabs on the floor.
From the outside path there is 1 step up to get into the porch.
The floor level in the porch finishes just below the Damp proof membrane.
I know on the outside path levels should always be 2 or 3 bricks below the DPM but does it matter in the Porch which is totally weatherproof?
If I tile on top of the slabs the finished level will be about 1/4' or 6mm above the DPM, is that ok?
