Lo all
I've just removed my old kitchen bitumen flooring and replaced it with
a 4 -1 screed its about 2.5" deep at one end and 0.5" deep at the other
(16' x 8' approx) its very flat and level although i left a rough finish
as i thought this would help adhesion.
My question is i was advised by a tile storeman to use a "green screed
adhesive" because its so new to allow for movement while drying,
its £42 a bag and i'd need 3 - 4 bags which seems rather expensive.
However my brother in-law says forget that just put a thin latex covering
over it and use normal waterproof adhesive that'll be fine, is that right ?
