Our new floors are the Egger Moisture Protect boards (with the melamine coating). Trying to lay electric underfloor heating / decoupling layer beneath the tiles, but struggling to find a suitable primer product to go over the floorboards. Egger have Teflon shoulders, and we can find a primer suitable for underfloor heating but *not* tested for the melamine surface, or one for the melamine that isn't tested for underfloor heating. As we don't really want the risk of the decoupling membrane losing adhesion, does anyone have any experience of working on this sort of surface? The area is relatively small (only a few square metres), and the new flooring is well within level tolerances.
